All right, you’ve purchased your cupcake toppers, and now you want to customize them for the birthday girl. How do you do that? If you already have your free CANVA account, that’s the place to start. If you haven’t made that yet, click here to see how to set it up.
1. Go to your downloaded cupcake topper file
I used the cupcake toppers from the 26th birthday bundle from CakeandFetti. When you view your downloaded file, the second page will start out looking like this:
2. Start the editing process
I selected the second topper in the first row as seen below. Then I pressed the shift key and selected each topper and name. This action highlighted the items that I wanted to delete. I pressed the trashcan icon, and boom! The highlighted items disappeared. Now I’m ready to put on my own touches!
3. Change the label
Now that I had my space cleared to work, I changed the name label. I highlighted Sophia and typed in Blyke in its place.
4. Select the items that you wish to duplicate
Since I wanted to make several cupcake toppers with Blyke on them, I selected the circle element, pressed down the Shift button, and selected Blyke. Now both the topper and label were hightlighted for duplication.
5. Duplicate the cupcake topper
With the topper and label highlighted, I pressed down the ALT key and dragged the topper down the create a duplicate below the first one. In this same manner, I can make multiple more. That way, you have as many as you need on the sheet. And once that is done, you are ready to print those perfect, customized toppers that your birthday girl is sure to love!
